Do the trees need orthopedic care?

Ask the green evangelist waging green war for fractured trees, nurturing them with humane care, tending them with motherly love and surgical care. He is the one doing organic plantation even as he does organ implantation- especially knee transplants(has a world record operating both knees for a centenarian- making him walk through the next century among his kith and kin ) Mark Twain quoted "everybody talks about weather, whether anybody does something about it? ". Yes, this white coat is coating the city green cooling its environment by simple activities which make huge difference. He spends every day at least two hours in spite of his busy national and international schedules as a leading Orthopedic surgeon.At least five hundred of his trees are creating history allover Chennai for everyone,everyday

Dr.M.PARTHASARATHY . , Director Modern OrthoCare {Specialist in joint replacement hip spine problems and major trauma }is the unique surgeon we are talking about . He has started a social service project -Care the trees love the mother earth.

Since 2006, different areas- have been adapted in and around Adyar, Tiruvanmiyur, Kottivakkam , Uthandi, and also in Temple Grounds and around the pond (kulam) of his native village Seliamedu.

Long living and tall growing type of trees like Nagalingham , Sivadhanya , thadusu (Stercoila) , Mahagone, Mahizham, Almond tree (padam) Indian Tulip(Spethodia) , tabebuia, Jamoon & Fig saplings have been planted & grown, subsequently Media dubia, Kumili & Kadamba have been added.

HIS suggestions in making green enclosure for trees, storm water drainage models which don’t disturb the roots of abutting trees ,plat forms which don’t strangle the growing tender trees , rain water saving, man holes which don’t kill the motor vehicle drivers by creating accidents are creating waves in the green society

Mr bones (Name of his famous book too) makes no bones about his achievements, but makes me turn green with envy by his environmental awards .

THE GAME OF LIFE




We should not stand & stare


At life ,because we have to share & care


Debiting love & affection


Crediting its reflection


As life is not accountable to us,


We are accountable to life


As the folios turn to showstock in trade


Boys are sundry debts,girls are sundry creditors


One of each makes the balance sheet complete tally


Realising the truth soulfully is paramount


All other vestments are really nil account


As some people are wise,


Others may be otherwise


Never take life seriously


As things may move precariously


People have to bury their desires


As all that lives are fruitless fires


You have to stand there bravely


Not be afraid to run away timidly


Until the last transaction is over
